On May 23, 2017, the Managing Director of Electrical Construction & Installation(ECI), Mr.Bounlath VILAYSOUK, together with five workers, was invited to Changgao Group. The two parties deeply communicated with each other and signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The CEO of Changgao Group, Ma Xiao and related leaders of Changgao International met the guests from Laos and accompanied them to visit the automatic workshops of Changgao Group, which shows the strength and the caliber of Changgao’s manufacturing. Mr.Bounlath expressed his appreciation to the company’s strength of manufacturing and developing new products.

The two parties held meetings in the Jinzhou Industrial Park of Changgao. The ECO of Changgao Group, Maxiao, made a detailed introduction to the business scope. The guests from Laos also made an introduction to ECI to Changgao and expressed their willingness to promote the cooperation on renewable energy power plant and transmission projects between the two parties.

Laos is the only landlocked country in southeast Asia, whose mainstay of economy is agriculture, and it is rich in hydro power. According to Ministry of Commerce of China, the investment from China to Laos has reched $USD 334.95 million from January to March this year, an increase of 365.3% than last year. Laos has become the 8th investment destination of China.
