On November 7,CHANGGAO GROUP signed a MOU with Electricite Du Laos on an 115kV Meng Kang substation project in Vientiane, Laos. Witnessed by Laos Energy and Mining Ministry, Mr. Bounoum, CEO of EDL and Mr.Li Dan, the Managing Director of CHANGGAO ELECTRIC INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD., signed on the MOU.

This project is located at Meng Kang,Xieng Khouang province in central Laos. and EDL appointed Changgao Group to be in charge of conducting the Feasibility Study, EPC project and its corresponding financing plan This is another grid EPC project in Laos after the Vangtao - Phonthong power transmission project, which plays an active role in the stategy of Laos marketing. 

Meng Kang is a mountainous area, the hydraulic resource is rich, the transportation is inconvenient, and the economy is backward. Currently，the basic electricity demand cannot be guaranteed,

The new hydropower station have been built surrounded Meng Kang according to the planning of EDL, Construction of this project can optimize the architecture of existing power grid, ensure the power output of hydropower station, improve the living standards of local residents, increase the economic incomes and speed up the progress of local urbanization.
