GW35/36-550 series outdoor HV AC isolating switchgear is single post, single arm with vertical telescopic structure / double-post with horizontal telescopic structure. During opening, main blade retracted and folded with revolve of operating insulator on each pole. After separating, a clearly visible fracture will be formed between main blade and static contact. When closing, main blade straightens its arm, closing operation will complete until it is completely straight. Meanwhile, static contact also plugs into the moving contact of main blade reliably.
