GW7D-1100 UHV series Compensation bypass isolating switchgear
GW7D-1100(W)/J6300-63 outdoor HV AC isolating switchgear is three-pole, double-breaker, horizontal open type. It is exclusively used in electric system of compensation side at rated voltage of 1000kV. And the isolating switchgear can open and close busbar transfer current that reached 6300A,7000V. The main switchgear is the same structure with normal GW7C-1100(W)J6300-63 outdoor HV AC isolating switchgear, but the insulation level of breaker is designed based on 550kV isolating switchgear.
The products has excellent structure and property, and the opening and closing process are stable and reliable. It has already passed type test and operated successfully at Changzhi substation of 1100kV Jingdonnan-Nanyang-Jingmen UHV demonstration project in Dec. 2011. Up to now, the equipments have been operating well.
The difference from normal isolating switchgear is that it has an auxiliary open and close circuit loop with vacuum circuit breaker besides main circuit. It is exclusively used for opening and closing 6300A,7000V busbar transfer current.
